The VlogFather and First Family of the internet Shay and Collette Butler announced that they are quitting the internet, in a raw vlog filmed in their car, they talked about how filming and uploading everyday has affected not only their day to day life, their children lives, but how it has also affected how they see themselves, and their own self-worth.
Due to their list of reasons they have said they will start Daily Vlogging again on October 2, 2016 and will upload everyday until March 5, 2017, on that day they will quit uploading to their channel for one year, that will also include taking a step back from their social media as well. Colette has said she will continue to make videos for the Moms View channel and Shay said he may pop up on a Trixin vlog, but he feels that he has an internet addiction and wants to be able to start living a more normal life again.
While we are sad to see them go, we wish them the best of luck, and hope they decide to return to the digital world!
